About Amy:
I am Cornish born and music has been my life since I was a child. I attended Wadebridge School and Truro School and gained a Bachelor of Music Degree at Royal Holloway University of London graduating in 2000. A few years later, after some travelling and working in estate agency, I moved to Australia where I studied for a Diploma of Education and became a high school music teacher.
My family and I moved back to the UK in 2013 after living on the Mornington Peninsula near Melbourne for ten years. I went with a suitcase, but came back with a husband, a toddler and a wealth of experience in music education and musical directing. As much as I love being in the classroom, I really felt like a change. Singing and directing are my major passion and I wished I could make a living of doing just that! I came up with the idea of inTune. With the support of my family (often affectionally referred to as 'Team Sapwell' by the choir!) inTune has become a reality and sharing my love of singing with the Cornish community is the best job in the world!
