Covid-19 Measures and Risk Assessment
I am happy to say that mitigations we had in place have now been relaxed. As it stands, we as a choir are doing the following:
1. Keeping the room well ventilated with doors and windows open. Whether this continues back into winter will be assessed when the time comes.
2. If anyone has any symptoms of covid or really anything at all, they stay home. One rehearsal is recorded every week and uploaded to YouTube so anyone in this position does not totally miss out.
3. If anyone AT HOME has covid, I also ask you to stay home. Other close contacts external to the home are fine.
4. When testing was free, I strongly advised it before attending choir. It is now not free nor is it recommended so testing is NOT a requirement of attendance.
5. Mask wearing is not required although a small number still prefer it.
6. The seats are not placed as closely as they used to be.
7. It is all about being responsible and so far, this attitude has served us well.
